I bought this Worcestershire sauce from Lea & Perrins some time back and has been struggling to find a use for it. I search for some recipes and found out that to burger patty actually uses them!
Ingredients (Makes about 4 patties)
- 250gm of minced beef
- 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup(s) Lea & Perrins® Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) salt
- 1/8 teaspoon(s) ground black pepper
- In medium bowl, combine all ingredients; shape into 4 patties. Since I don’t have a BBQ set, I lightly fry them on a pan (so that the patty stays in shape) for 5 minutes each side before popping them in the oven for 20 minutes on 180C degrees.
- Assemble the burger with your favourite garnish. I had lettuce, cheese and tomato with some mayonnaise and tomato sauce for my burger.
I also made steamed corn cob as the side instead of french fries for a healthier option. The corn was brushed with butter and sprinkle with salt before steaming it for about 20 minutes (or less) per cob. Burger was such a good choice for dinner while watching prime time movie on the TV.
