Egg ToFu with Sweet Peas

  • 2 tubes of Japanese silken egg tofu, sliced approx. 2cm apart
  • 1 handful of sweet peas
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • Sauce:
    • 1 tablespoon of tomato ketchup sauce
    • 1/2 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
    • 1 tablespoon of light soya sauce
    • 1/2 teaspoon of chicken bouillon powder
    • Dash of pepper
  • Cooking oil
  1. Heat up oil in a wok and fry the tofu in batches till skin is crispy. Set aside.
  2. With the remaining oil in the wok, add in the garlic and stir fry till fragrant.
  3. Add in the sweet peas and stir fry for a minute.
  4. Pour in all the sauce and return the tofu into the wok. Gently combine well.
  5. Add a bit of water and adjust the seasoning as required. Serve this hot.
