In this post I am going to post up some of my past recipes which I thought are pretty decent if you wish to cook it a night before and pack it for next day work lunch as it is microwavable and it still taste as good. I personally hate soggy sandwich lunches (if I prepare them ready the night before). I know I could make it on the day but the hassle of packing the ingredients separately and then assembling them is just too daunting of a task for impatient person like me. Also, I have this preference for my food to be served hot – maybe it’s an Asian thing since I grow up eating hot lunches, not cold stuff (i.e. cold cut meat, sandwiches). So yeah, in any day, I would definitely prefer my lunch to be heat up than serve right out from the fridge.

Side Notes: The recipes above are mostly main dish so it can be packed together with rice. If you are not consuming the dish on the night itself and packing it as left-overs, feel free to cut down the cooking time (but make sure you follow food safety procedures – basic guideline here) so you can finish off the cooking in the microwave on the day when you are consuming the food. I am not an expert in food safety guideline so this is purely my personal opinion.
Do you think these recipes gave you some ideas? I’ll be happy to hear your comments – if you could write to me by posting just below this post.
