About Me

myAvatarI’m just another Malaysian Chinese girl who had recently migrated (like many others) to Land Down Under. Like many who are far away from their homeland, food is one thing that keeps me happy and reminds me of my origin. I am always in the lookout for food and recipes to try that reminds me of home.

I’m a food lover and I (proudly) admit it is THE go-to pass time to curb stress and relax. What’s better than a satisfied craving and a filled stomach?

I like photography but I could only produce mediocre photos…*shy away*. I enjoy taking pictures of food in particular and somehow or rather my food always get cold in the (painstakingly long…) process; nevertheless I still enjoy them very much!

I like or am finding my liking in cooking at the moment so hence this website was created. I enjoy reading recipes, buying and collecting cookbooks. I have a favourite list of cookbooks as listed here. Apart from cookbooks, I have a favourite list of food and recipes websites that I frequent on my RSS reader, and you can find all of them here.

You can reach me at:

I am also active on these social networks, follow me on:

    Hi,

I’ve added a new feature so you can publish your blog posts on Urbanspoon yourself! Next time you post a review, give it a try. Here’s how:

    - Make sure you’re signed into Urbanspoon.
    - Go to your Urbanspoon blog page (not your user profile): http://www.urbanspoon.com/br/338/11699/Perth/PS-I-Love-To-Cook.html
    - Click “Edit blog settings”.
    - In the Pending Posts section, click “Edit and publish my pending posts”.
    - Then, enter the “snippet” text, verify the date and URL, and press Publish.

    Please make sure that:
    - The URL should be the permalink to the blog post (not the blog home page, a post preview, or a service like feedproxy).
    - The snippet should be 2-3 sentences (quoted from your blog post) that gives an idea of what’s in the post.
    - The snippet should NOT include bylines, dates, address info, captions, tags, HTML code, etc.

Note: there may be a delay of 1-2 hours after you post on your blog until our system detects the post.

We’ll give you one week to do it yourself, then it’ll go into our queue to publish.

Thank you for all of your contributions, and let us know if you have any questions.

    Greg
